One-Call Registration

We offer more than a simple registration service. When you sign-up with us, you receive a full-featured package of services and products designed to help increase public safety while reducing the risks to your company’s supply chain. This is what we do for you:

  • Initiate the application process. We facilitate the initial application process by completing and submitting the necessary forms to Alberta One-Call on your behalf.
  • Locate your pipelines. Using our proprietary software, PipeCraft™, we extract your latest pipeline asset information.
  • Create a client database. This Access database contains specific information for each Unique Pipeline Identifier (UPI), including location. We provide you with a copy of this database for your own internal use. It is an invaluable resource for managing any Alberta One-Call requests.
  • Create digital maps. These accurate depictions of your pipeline locations include a 100 metre buffer zone around each pipeline. The buffer zone reduces the size of the area in which you must physically locate lines. This significantly reduces the number of times you must send someone from your company to physically locate a pipeline, thus reducing costs.
    We submit these maps to Alberta One-Call on your behalf and provide you with copies for your own internal use. Used in conjunction with a geographic information system (GIS), they will be a valuable tool for managing your company’s internal one call system.
  • Verify data and submit corrections to the One Call service. This saves your employees from spending their valuable time answering questions and submitting information.
  • Develop final customer report. This provides you with a comprehensive list of all the pipelines that we have registered on your behalf with Alberta One-Call.
  • Perform periodic updates. We submit updated information to Alberta 1 Call to reflect any pipelines that your company has acquired, divested, or abandoned.
